Since having made a significant career change in 2010, I’ve been coaching senior leaders, and developing bespoke learning opportunities designed to enable my clients’ businesses to achieve their objectives, whilst creating opportunity for their people to thrive. Since writing 'The Enabling Manager' with Myles Downey, I've been travelling the UK meeting amazing leaders, and working with them to develop the communication skills required to enable people to live their best life at work whilst delivering outstanding results for the business. A longstanding client once described my approach as walking with them through the landscape, helping them to unpick their thoughts and opening new doors to other interesting places. I don’t see myself as a trainer but as someone who will introduce you to models and ideas that will enrich your thinking and enable you to find your way to the outcomes you want. I’m a proud Lancastrian who has spent his entire adult life living in and around the West Midlands. Having grown up in Blackburn, I’m a life-long Blackburn Rovers fan and you’ll often find me in the Riverside Stand at Ewood Park in one of my many my blue and white shirts. I’m also a proud father and grandfather.
