Ashish Srivastava, popularly known by his pen name Sagar Suman, is a rare blend of corporate excellence and literary passion. With over 20 years of experience in the branding and marketing industry, he has held key leadership roles in renowned companies like Surya Roshni Ltd., Duroply Industries Ltd., and the Eastman Group, where he rose from Brand Manager to General Manager – Brand, serving from 1995 to 2015.But Ashish's story doesn't end in boardrooms. A poet at heart, he has always found his soul in words, rhythm, and rhyme. After two successful decades in the corporate world, he followed his literary calling and launched Poetry Book Bazar in 2016, a unique initiative to support self-publishing for poets and authors. His mission was clear — to give voice to the unheard and bring Hindi and Urdu poetry back into the mainstream.Ashish is a respected poet, writing in Ghazal, Chhand, prose, and other classical forms. Through WhatsApp-based writing groups and literary communities, he mentored hundreds of new and aspiring poets, especially in traditional poetic meters — a contribution that has rekindled interest in Indian poetic heritage among the youth.

In 2018, his journey expanded into the world of advertising with the launch of Perfect Advertising, and later, into publishing and e-commerce through the literary platform Pustakvani. Today, he continues to inspire as a poet, mentor, entrepreneur, and literary activist — carrying books, not just for reading, but for leading a movement.
